The Associate of Science with Concentration in Business degree program is a 64-credit, lower-division academic program, with 48 credits in major courses, designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical career experience to business and management theory. It is designed to help students acquire skills and knowledge essential in the business world, while providing a strong background in liberal arts. The program introduces students to the basic structure of the business world. Business management topics covered include: oral and written communication; free enterprise; economics; government; law; accounting; and human resource management. Also included in the program sequence are liberal arts courses covering environmental science, mathematics, and humanities. The core curriculum is structured sequentially, with students taking one course at a time. Courses involve four-hour class sessions once a week, generally for five weeks. Participants also form study groups made up of three to five students who meet outside of class to work on assigned individual and group projects

The Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Management is a 44-credit, upper-division academic program designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical career experience to management theory. Designed for students primarily in law enforcement and fire service, this program emphasizes the knowledge and skills needed to manage in public safety fields. The program provides a comprehensive background in management sciences and includes courses in leadership, ethics, human resource management, organizational behavior, statistics, and communication.

The Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management is a 41-credit, upper division, academic program designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical career experience to business and management theory. The program places special emphasis on developing the knowledge and skills essential for the management of human services whether in the not-for-profit or for-profit organization. Providing a wide-ranging and detailed foundation in the management of human services organizations, the program offers coursework in the following areas: management and supervision, legal and ethical issues, community resources development, communications and grant writing, human resources, finance and budgeting, marketing and fundraising, statistics, and strategy. The core curriculum is structured sequentially, with students taking one course at a time in the designed sequence. By combining academic learning with community service projects, the program allows for service-learning opportunities in which students can apply concepts learned in their courses to practice. At the end of the course sequence, students are required to complete a Capstone Course which integrates material from all of the previous coursework through a focus on strategy. Students obtain the Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management degree by using the management core to build upon other traditional and non-traditional learning experiences. A minimum of 128 undergraduate credits is required for the BS-HSM degree.

The Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management of Information Systems (BS-SMIS) is a 44-credit, upper-division, academic program designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical, technical career experience to business and management theory. The program emphasizes the strategies involved in managing technology and the information it generates. The program includes courses which provide a basic management foundation, including such areas as critical thinking, management and leadership, statistics, economics, and an introduction to management information systems. Courses such as project management, legal and ethical issues, and marketing provide an introduction to the general environment of information systems in business, while courses in database management, enterprise resource planning, and systems analysis and design provide a more in-depth focus on specific strategies. The core curriculum is structured so that students take one course at a time in a designated sequence. At the end of the course sequence, students are required to complete a Capstone Course which integrates material from all of the previous coursework and apply it to a real-world challenge or opportunity. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program is a 41-credit, upper division academic program designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical career experience to business and management theory. The program has a particular emphasis on technical and quantitative skills in addition to management science, and provides an effective balance of theory and practical application. The curriculum is designed to enable students to work effectively in a business environment that has become increasingly more complex. Students immediately use on-the-job skills they learn in the classroom. Included are courses in the following areas: accounting, finance and financial administration; statistics, management and planning; marketing; business law; management information systems; economics; and business ethics. The core curriculum is structured sequentially, with students taking one course at a time. Courses involve four-hour class sessions once a week, usually for five weeks. Participants also form study groups made up of three to five students who meet outside of class for four hours on a weekly basis to work on assigned individual and group projects. At the end of the course sequence, students are required to complete a capstone course that integrates material from all of the previous course work through a focus on strategic management and includes the completion of a major paper addressing an issue, problem, or concern in the student's work environment. Students obtain the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree by using the above business administration courses to build upon other traditional and non-traditional learning experiences. A minimum of 128 undergraduate credits is required for the BSBA degree.

The Bachelor of Science in Management program is a 41-credit, upper division academic program designed for adult learners who wish to relate their practical career experience to business and management theory. The program has a special emphasis on the knowledge and skills essential for the management of human resources in private and public organizations. Providing a comprehensive, practical background in the social and management sciences, the program provides course work in the following areas: oral and written communications; leadership, human resources management, organizational behavior and business ethics; management information systems, statistics, and marketing; and financial planning and control. The core curriculum is structured sequentially, with students taking one course at a time. Courses involve four-hour class sessions once a week, usually for five weeks. Participants also form study groups made up of three to five students who meet outside of class for four hours on a weekly basis to work on assigned individual and group projects. At the end of the program, students complete a capstone course that integrates material from the previous course work through a focus on strategic organizational leadership and includes the completion of a major paper addressing an issue, problem, or concern in the student's work environment. Students obtain a Bachelor of Science in Management degree by using the management core to build upon other traditional and non-traditional learning experiences. A total of 128 undergraduate credits are required for the BSM degree.

The MBA is a 36-credit, non-traditional, computer-enhanced, graduate degree program designed with the working professional in mind. The main goal of the MBA program is to develop the broad management analysis, synthesis, and leadership skills required for middle- and upper-level management. As a professional degree program, much of the MBA course work stems from the disciplines of management science, marketing, finance, and accounting. Due to the intensive nature of the advanced economics, statistics, finance, and accounting courses, MBA degree applicants must demonstrate appropriate levels of knowledge in these areas or take undergraduate-level prerequisites. Other topics of study in the MBA curriculum include quantitative analysis, operations management, organizational behavior, legal and ethical issues, human resource management, and global business policy and strategy. In the final course, Capstone: Global Business Policy and Strategy, students apply theoretical knowledge to the analysis of global business problems. Using case study methods, students examine the development, implementation, and reformation of a global business strategy. In addition, students select a problem or concern related to course work throughout the MBA degree program and to their own professional responsibilities. They research literature based on similar situations, evaluate alternatives, and recommend a solution for the selected challenge. The resultant Capstone Paper and defense of the research, through an oral presentation, demonstrates the integration of professional and academic accomplishments.

Cardinal Stritch University's College of Business and Management offers an MBA degree through an accelerated, 36-credit program that is delivered 100% online. Created in conjunction with business leaders, the degree program emphasizes the identification, analysis, and solution of complex management problems within a context requiring both technical understanding and balanced decision-making. Course projects require an individual and cooperative approach to problem-solving. Working in groups, students will learn how to manage effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace and at the same time develop their leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills. Students integrate and apply the theories and techniques learned throughout the degree program through the completion of a capstone project addressing a specific opportunity or challenge in their own work environment. This enables the MBA graduates to obtain the proficiencies needed to advance their careers and assume the duties of middle and upper-level management with confidence.

The 33-credit Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree program focuses on the emerging field of the development of organizations. Students explore in depth basic management functions and learn how effective leadership can encourage the achievement of organizational objectives. Dealing with individual and group behaviors within an organization, the core curriculum focuses on human resource management as it contributes to productivity, quality, and achieving organizational objectives. Students learn the dynamics of team work, participate in a community service project, and apply statistical tools in the analysis of data which support quality effectiveness initiatives. A major component of the program is the exploration of ethical and social issues that students may encounter as managers. The program also acquaints students with the language, concepts, and tools of accounting and finance, and enables them to develop skills and concepts needed to manage information technology effectively and efficiently. Applied case studies enable students to think critically and creatively about implementing management strategies in a changing environment. Exercises also engage students in problem-solving and decision making in developing and facing entrepreneurial opportunities for competitive advantage and organizational success. In the final course, using the case study method, students integrate concepts learned throughout the MSM degree program and learn to apply analytical techniques to address challenges and opportunities faced by organizations in an environment of constant change.

The Certificate in Project Management program responds to the needs of a workforce which faces many changes as companies and organizations become flatter, and the use of cross-functional teams and project managers replace the traditional hierarchical structures. The target audience for this program ranges from first line managers to technical managers, project team leaders, and those involved in engineering, production, human resources, or other complex business projects. The program is a six-course, 18-credit sequence that emphasizes both qualitative and quantitative knowledge and skills. The program uses Microsoft Project as the basic software. The Certificate in Sales and Sales Management (CSM) program emphasizes the knowledge and skills essential for success in sales and sales management careers. The program provides courses in selling skills and techniques, interpersonal effectiveness in management and sales, sales closing skills and techniques, effective negotiating and bargaining techniques, and the role and functions of a sales manager in the overall organization. *Available online.

The Certificate in Contemporary Team Management is a 15-credit program that focuses on the competencies and foundational skills needed for employees to become successful front-line managers, team leaders, and coaches. Because employers consistently identify the ability to work in teams as one of the top requirements for success in the workplace, this certificate program concentrates on the communication and interpersonal skills necessary to supervise, manage, and lead teams in the contemporary workplace. Using a blend of skill-building exercises and traditional management and team building theories and principles, students learn how to work with people so that they become more effective in the workplace.

The Certificate in Human Resource Management (CHRM) program addresses issues that the HR employee faces daily, from legal matters to staff recruitment and development. It is designed for those who have functional responsibility to carry out the duties of an organization's human resource department: seasoned HR staff members wishing to keep current; newcomers to the field requiring new knowledge and skills; or specialists wanting to broaden their knowledge base.
